156 athletes from 33 nationen opened up the worlds biggest windsurf event

The air show is ready to start – The Mercedes-Benz Windsurf World Cup is officially inaugurated. 156 athletes from 33 countries gathered at the “Musikmuschel” in Westerland.

In the next then day, the world’s best windsurfers will fight for the world championship title and the victory at the only Super Grand Slam of the PWA World Tour. For the freestylers and waveriders, it’s going to be the last event of the season.
