“DRWAKE” is the nickname of Martin Bubel. He is a physiotherapist with a lot of experience in different sports. Windsurfing and kitesurfing are his favorite sports.
As the youngest participant Martin Bubel won as the windsurfing championship Super 8 on Fehmarn. The following year he came in the top 5. Until the age of 19, he was an active wrestler. In 2001 he started kiting.
Since 2010 he has worked as a physiotherapist in various institutions and rehabilitation centers. Prevention and mobilization of patients is his main duty here. Again and again, friends from the kite and surf sport asked him for his professional advice and support. This experience led him to the idea and the plan to combine water sports and his experience as a physiotherapist.
In 2015 he took the physiological care for the Best Kiteboarding Team for the first time. Since then, the clientele of Martia aka DRWAKE is now focused on water sports enthusiasts and their special needs. With his knowledge and his experience, he can treat the riders perfectly and make them fit for their competition. A quick regeneration is important for the competitive athlete.
